Open day at garden complex was held yesterday in Amstelveen [Tuinvereniging Nesserlaan] and I sold my handmade goods in there.
The visitors to this market were mostly local people, and many people stopped by, saying 'How beautiful!' when they saw the small miniature clay art or colourful Japanese style flower accessories. I had a lot of fun interacting with them while selling the items.
In lovely weather, we were able to spend a relaxing weekend with the locals.
There were also stalls selling the garden's owner's homemade jams, fruit liquor, eggs produced here, and honey, handicrafts, wooden products, also a workshop corner, a raffle, and visitors seemed to enjoy themselves.

Yesterday, some people who were scheduled to participate were unable to attend, so only one person attended the workshop.
In this workshop, we will make a lot of things, but she made them quickly and very well.
She has successfully completed a cute piece of work!
I wonder where it will be displayed…
I would be happy if these cute handmade dolls could decorate a room ♪
☆ Since there are people who were unable to attend this time and also some people who have applied the "Miniature Hina Doll" workshop on another day, I’m thinking of holding a workshop around September after the holidays.
If you are interested, please contact me.
☆ Coloratura offers also other one-day miniature clay workshops from time to time.
Many people participated in Coloratura's miniature clay workshops, origami and other workshops again this year.
All workshops were popular and fully booked.
This year, we were able to use one booth, allowing more people to experience the workshops in a larger space.
It seems that many people saw my workshops and participated on the spot, and I am pleased that more people were able to know about Coloratura's activities through the Japan Festival.
We were also happy to see that there were people who were unable to participate last year and came before the festival started, hoping to participate this year.
It is nice that men and women, adults and children...all kinds of people participate and enjoyed it at this Japan Festival.
Everyone was concentrating during the workshops, but when they finished, they had a wonderful smile(^^) I am glad that many people enjoyed the workshops and am pleased that they were happy.
Thank you very much to everyone who participated and showed interest.
I sold handmade items at the Summer Fair of an international school in Amsterdam.
Children found the cute miniature clay breads and sweets, and saying how cute they were! Also people were interested in the beautiful Japanese-style fabric and origami accessories and decorations.
Many kids who visited my table looked happy(^^) , so it was a happy day for me too.
*Tomorrow I will be running a workshop at the Japan Festival in Stadshart, Amstelveen. Please come and join us!
This is an instructor certification course that is only available in Japanese, but sisters and her daughter wanted to take the course together, so I arranged the course to start in English.
Since then, they had been making many vegetables and fruits.
They learned the basics of miniature clay, from the types of clay and how to mix colors, to various ways of making things.
Some pieces were a little difficult to make shapes but they enjoyed making and great “vegetable frame" has been completed today.
Both they and I are happy that they have created a one-of-a-kind piece of work.
