*Although the corona restrictions have been eased, the number of infected people are increasing. At Coloratura workshop, I try to prevent infection to disinfect the table and doorknobs … and ventilate regularly. I also ask all the participants to take measure to prevent infection like wearing face mask..etc
My daughter's friend was interested in miniature clay and came to make miniature Hina dolls.
She likes Japan and is also studying Japanese. She enjoyed making Hina dolls, and when her work is finished, she said “it’s so pretty!” and looked happy.
I'm glad that the young people are interested in Japanese things and enjoy making miniature dolls.
* Japanese girls day” Hinamatsuri” (3rd of March) is coming soon. Corona regulations have been ease, so I am planning to hold "Hina dolls" workshop from mid-February. I will inform you later on this Instagram and website.
During the year-end and New Year holidays, I visited Japan, and came back to the Netherlands a few days ago.
I usually don't have much time, so I concentrated on making works while I was in quarantine at the hotel, (The work in the photo was made in the meantime.)
Then while I was quarantining at my father’s house, I was cleaning the house, sending New Year's message to my friends ...etc. and I was busy So time flew quickly.
It was good I was able to help to clean my fathers house and spend time with my father In this temporary return to Japan,
This year, in addition to miniature clay, I am planning to hold a workshop to make accessories etc. with Japanese pattern cloth as shown in the photo. (For the time being, it is difficult to hold workshops due to the spread of corona infection and Government regulations, so I’m watching for the timing to hold workshops .)
I want to sell my handmade goods at a local market and also sell them online this year.
Well, I'll do my best this year!
I hope that this year the Corona will be settled and our life will move in a better direction.
