Today, three local participants joined the workshop. Two of them participated in a workshop on other works a few months ago, and this was their second time to join.
Making "Hina dolls" requires a lot of detailed work and is a little difficult, but everyone enjoyed the process and concentrated.
They finished the kimonos(Japanese traditional clothes), the dolls’ heads, a fan, a scepter... They also made lanterns, Hishi mochi, and Hina arare.
Participants can make wide variety of works, and are very satisfied when they are completed.
Today, we were happy to have completed three cute and wonderful works.

Yesterday, some people who were scheduled to participate were unable to attend, so only one person attended the workshop.
In this workshop, we will make a lot of things, but she made them quickly and very well.
She has successfully completed a cute piece of work!
I wonder where it will be displayed…
I would be happy if these cute handmade dolls could decorate a room ♪
☆ Since there are people who were unable to attend this time and also some people who have applied the "Miniature Hina Doll" workshop on another day, I’m thinking of holding a workshop around September after the holidays.
If you are interested, please contact me.

We made small Kabuto (a decorative samurai helmet) and Koinobori (carp streamers)with clay.
In Japan, boy's Festival is coming soon. It’s nice to make seasonal items like this.
Today's work was a bit difficult, but it turned out to be such a wonderful piece! (Some participants left early, so we can’t take photo of everyone’s finished work together, and the carp streamer pole was not yet glued though…)

Hinamatsuri festival is coming soon in Japan. Yesterday, I held a Hina dolls making workshop and the sisters participated.
The lady who applied knew my workshop at Japan Festival held in Amstelveen last year and were interested in it, and her sister and niece also like it. And three of them applied this time together. Her niece wasn’t able to come yesterday, but sisters were having fun together.
They made lanterns, small hina arare and hishi mochi (sweets for Hina doll festival) as well as two dolls. There are many things to make in this work!
This work is a bit more difficult than some of the other works, but they made each piece well and very cute works have been completed.
The ladies love miniatures and enjoyed the workshop. They said they would like to participated again, and I'm so happy.
