Yesterday, I participated in SAKB open day in Amstelveen.
Since the event was co-sponsored by the art facility SAKB, and the Japanese volunteer group Jacop, there were art exhibitions, Japan-related shops and event such as Coloratura's Japanese-style handmade goods sales & miniature clay rice ball making workshop, Ikebana(flower arrangement) and Kintsugi workshops. There were also Japanese chorus performances, kimono demonstrations, sales of okonomiyaki and sushi, and so on.
This time, I am grateful to have been invited by the head of SAKB to participate. Furthermore, at the end, I received such a wonderful bouquet from him.
It wasn't an event with many visitors, but at such an event, we were able to have more conversations with customers, interact with other stallholders, and can enjoy ourselves in a relaxed and at-home atmosphere. It was a fun and fulfilling day.
Thank you to everyone who came to visit us and involved in the event.

At the request of a kimono teacher, I made accessories in her favorite color and style. Pink and red, orange.. I wonder what kind of kimono she will use them with..
I’m making many other handcraft goods for the next sale in Amstelveen on September 3rd. (Details will notice here later.)
Coloratura mainly hold miniature clay workshops and courses, and sell handmade products only several times a year at markets and Japanese events.
Due to the limited number I can make, I do not sell them online, but if you want something like the one shown here, I can make it for you. If you are interested, please feel free to contact. I will do my best to meet your requests, such as colors and styles.

We held a workshop of miniature clay "Japanese sweets (Wagashi)”.
Today, a child and a man also participated. The participants are a good balance of Japanese and local people.
Everyone made very well and quickly. Cute, tiny Japanese sweets were completed one after another.
The 6th grade girl is also very good at making. It seems that she likes to make something... "What one likes, one will do best.”
In this work, in addition to claywork, participants fold tiny origami cranes with 3cm square origami paper. For local people it seemed a little difficult, but they were able to fold it properly.
I hope all of participants enjoyed workshop.
Participants who is repeater (it was the second time for Japanese sweets), who joined my workshop at Japan Festival and came to this workshop , who came from Eindhoven…
Thank you to everyone who participated.
