I'm preparing to open a stall at my daughter's school Winter Fair next week.
Since it is before Christmas and many kids are coming, I am making Christmas-themed new items.
Tiny Christmas trees and snowmen.
I am making to imagine that it would be nice if the children look at these with their eyes shining and say "It's so tiny! So cute!"
And this time, there are many children of various nationalities, so thinking that it would be nice to have some Dutch style items and I made a windmill and tulips.
The photo frame is the same one for the workshop, but I put smaller windmill and tulips on small cases.
The miniature clay works and other items have mainly been Japanese-style, but I would be happy to expand the range of items and get more people interested.
Why don't you participate in a special Christmas workshop where you can make small Christmas ornaments with clay, and decorate mini-sized wreaths to make a lovely wreath.
We will make and decorate small snowman, boots, candy canes, holly leaves, and so on. You can choose the color of the wreath, the ribbon, the color of the snowman’s muffler etc., and decorate it freely, so you can create your own unique wreath.
Have fun to make a Christmas wreath !

Today, 3 families - 3 mothers and 7 children came for the miniature clay "Western sweets" lesson.
Three girls in Year 4, three younger brothers and sister, and the youngest participant is a lovely little girl. The little girl made key ring with her mother.
Parfaits, cookies, chocolates, ice cream and lollipops,
There were a lot of detailed works, some of them were difficult for the primary school children, but they all concentrated and worked very hard ( and also enjoyed) to make each items and two and a half hours went by very quickly.
Everyone did a great job, and each piece was unique.
I am glad that they enjoyed the workshop today.

We have opened stall at the Museumplain market (craft market)held once a month on Sunday in Amsterdam.
Until before the market, the weather forecast predicted rain during the market, but it didn't rain and many people visited the market.
About two hours after I got home, it started raining heavily and there was even thunder, so I was grateful for the good weather (^^).
Many of our customers were tourists, and some from Peru, Mexico, Israel, Dubai, USA…etc. purchased my items.
As Colouratura mainly sells Japanese-style handmade goods, so many of the people who bought were Japanese fans, and said “cute” and bought a pair of rice ball pierced earrings etc. I enjoyed such as the small talk with customers.
I don't plan on having an outdoor market for the time being during the cold winter, but when the weather warms up, I plan to have another stall somewhere. I think to have more new products by then, so I look forward to seeing you again at that time.
✳︎ Winter season with short daylight hours, take a miniature clay workshops indoors!
