Would you like to bring a cozy, gentle glow and a touch of Japanese elegance into your home? I am excited to invite you to a fun, hands-on experience in Amsterdam: The Washi Lampshade Workshop.

In this creative 2-hour session, you will design your very own original lampshade using authentic Japanese Washi paper.

・Brought from Japan: Since Washi paper is very difficult to find here in the Netherlands, I personally bring it all the way from Japan so you can experience its beautiful texture!

・The Magic of Washi: Washi paper allows light to filter through its delicate fibers softly, creating a soothing, warm, and calming atmosphere in any room.

・Complete Design Freedom: You can choose your favorite paper from a variety of colors and patterns. Tear and paste them freely, create floral shapes, or choose your favorite shape from our paper punches to create your own unique motifs. Your imagination is the only limit!

・For Everyone: Whether you are an adult looking for a relaxing creative hobby or a child enjoying a fun craft, everyone is welcome.

Take a piece of gentle Japanese culture home with you and enjoy your custom lamp every single day.

《Workshop Details》

・Duration: 2 hours

・Fee: €40 (Includes all materials, Japanese tea/drinks, and sweets)

・Group Size: 3 to 7 people (A cozy, friendly, and relaxed atmosphere)

・Languages: Japanese & English

・Location: Just a 2-minute walk from the Amsterdamse Bos bus stop. (Exact address will be provided upon booking confirmation)

* Please note that drying time is required after crafting. On the day of the workshop, you will take your piece home on its base, and complete it by removing the base once it is fully dry—a quick 1–2 days later (a super easy and fun final step!).

My works are now available on one shelf inside of OSAKA BALL, a popular takoyaki shop at Albert Cuyp Market in Amsterdam.

You’ll find miniature takoyaki, along with other Japanese-inspired miniature clay works such as onigiri, wagashi, and taiyaki, as well as tsumami-zaiku accessories.

While I was arranging my items today, a customer stopped by, said
“So cute!”,
and chose a miniature takoyaki necklace.

Their award-winning takoyaki,which won a championship at a takoyaki fair in New York, is perfect for the cold season — warm, comforting, and delicious.

The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, and I’m very happy to share my work in such a lovely space.

I’ll also be hosting pop-up sales once or twice a month.

Albert Cuypマーケットのたこ焼き屋さん OSAKA BALL の店内にて、棚一段をお借りし、私の作品を販売させていただくことになりました。

ミニチュアたこ焼きをはじめ、おにぎり・和菓子・たい焼きなどの ミニチュア粘土作品、つまみ細工のアクセサリーなどをご用意しております。

今日、並べている最中に
「かわいい〜！」と、お客様が見にいらっしゃり、たこ焼きネックレスをお買い上げくださいました。

ニューヨークのたこ焼きフェアでチャンピオンに輝いたたこ焼きは、寒い季節にぴったりの美味しさとほっかほかの温かさ！

とても気さくで温かいオーナーさんのお人柄も魅力で、そんな素敵なお店の空間で作品をご紹介できることを嬉しく思っています。

今後は 月1〜2回、ポップアップ も予定しています。

貸し農場のようなところ)のオープンデーがあり、

そこで出店する機会をいただき、

ハンドメイド品を販売してきました。

ワークショップやレッスンは

ミニチュア粘土をメインに行っていますが、

販売の方は、和風でパッと目に留まる

華やかさのある、つまみ細工のお花の方を

多くしています。

 

わぁ〜、綺麗〜！

と立ち止まってくれた方も多く、

そこから多くの人との対話が生まれ、

購入してくださる方もいたり…。

 

そんなやり取りも楽しく、週末のひと時を

ゆったりと楽しむローカルの人たちと共に、

わいわいとした楽しい雰囲気も味わえ、

とても有意義な一日となりました。

 

 

そこで飼われている鶏の卵や手作りジャムや

フルーツのリキュール、ハチミツやワイン

なども売られていてお得に購入でき、

ビンゴなどもあり、来場者も楽しんでいた

ようでした。

Open day at garden complex was

held in Amstelveen [Tuinvereniging Nesserlaan] (https://www.tuinverenigingnesserlaan.nl/opendag-26-06-2022.html  )

and I had the opportunity to sell my

handmade goods in there.

 

Mainly I hold miniature clay classes and

workshops, but for sale at the flea market,

I prepared more flower products using

Japanese-style cloth than miniature clay works.

 

Many people stopped, and  said

“wow, it's beautiful! “

It was fun to interact with people

and I enjoyed such an atmosphere

 

It was a very meaningful day!

 

Chicken eggs, handmade jams,

fruit liqueurs, honey and wine …etc. were sold

at a good price.

Visitors were playing bingo and it seemed

enjoying themselves and spending relaxed time.

 

 

 

☆ Next weekend,  I will sell at Westergasfabriek's
