今回のワークショップでは、和布を使用し
アクセサリー作りをしました。
今日は3名様がご参加くださる予定でしたが、
遠方よりお友達同士でいらっしゃる予定だった
方々が事情により急にお越しいただけなくなり、
お一人様でのレッスンになりました。
大きめのお花と小さいお花で、二つ作品を
お作りいただけるのですが、
ピン留めとチャームを選ばれました。
ピン留めは娘さん用に、チャームはご自分用に
ということでした。
本日ご参加くださったのは、日本がお好きで
やはり和柄の布などを利用して袋や小物類を
作られているオランダの方です。
オランダの方が日本の物がお好きで、
このように和雑貨を手作りされていて
嬉しいですね。
お一人だったこともあり、いろいろなお話もでき、
楽しいひと時でした。
こんな出会いがあるといつも、本当に
ワークショップを開催していて良かったなぁ
と思います。

We made flower accessories using
Japanese-patterned cloth.
A Dutch lady participated today.
Three people were scheduled
to participate but due to circumstances,
a lady who was planning to come with friend
from far away couldn’t come suddenly,
so it became a one-on-one lesson.
In Today’s workshop, she could make two
works with a large flower and a small flower,
and she chose hair pin and charm.
The hair pin was for her daughter
and the charm was for herself.
She likes Japan and also makes bags
and accessories..etc using
Japanese-patterned cloth.
I’m glad Dutch people likes Japanese things
and makes Japanese craft like this.
Since there was only one participant,
we were able to talk about various things
and I had a good time.
I think I am really happy to be holding
workshops whenever people came and
could interact like this.
